The Nevada Association for the Education of Young Children (NevAEYC) is now accepting proposals for their annual early childhood conference scheduled for April 24 – 26, 2025 at the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas Nevada on all topics related to early childhood education*. Proposals will be accepted through March 21, 2025.
Need suggestions? Here are some ideas for topics around critical issues in the early childhood field right now:
- Skill building for educators on behavior from children that is challenging to adults
- Child development after COVID
- Authentic family engagement
- Savvy business practices for directors
- Advanced leadership training
- Men in early childhood education
- Creating an engaging environment
- Social emotional learning
- Special needs/inclusion
- Educator wellness and reducing burnout
- Equity and inclusion in early childhood
They are looking for fresh, high-quality, impactful trainings not regularly provided to our workforce. For this reason, please do not submit topics on Nevada-required initial training sessions already abundantly offered and easily available throughout the year (such as Signs of Illness, Child Abuse and Neglect, etc.).

*You must be an approved trainer with The Nevada Registry or registered as a Conference Presenter to submit a conference proposal. Both the Lead Presenter and all Co-Presenters must be approved trainers in order to present as well. If your trainer expiration date is prior to April 24, 2025, you will be required to renew your trainer approval status before being able to submit a proposal. Contact The Nevada Registry to verify your trainer approval status, ask about the trainer renewal process and/or for more information about how to register as a Conference Presenter.
