Providers and parents have many questions about child care during the COVID-19 response, and the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services is working to answer them all.

To that end, the letter below will answer a few questions that both providers and parents are asking. This includes information about child care’s status as an “essential” business, registering to provide child care to essential service and emergency workers, and ways for parents to connect with available child care. This letter is good for providers and is also good for providers to share with parents who need the same information.
