Thank you for your ongoing usage of the Employee List to facilitate the online membership application process for your new employees and streamline the verification of your program’s compliance with QRIS and Child Care Licensing for mandatory participation with The Nevada Registry!

As a reminder, new employees in licensed child care programs are granted access to the Nevada Registry membership application after you have submitted their name to our office via your Employee List. Once the request is received and reviewed by our office, the individual is sent an email containing instructions on how to proceed to the online Membership Application.

We have created this list of quick tips to help you make the most of this feature.

  1. Submit an application request only after your new employee has completed all the required initial training. Membership applications submitted without all the required documentation are considered incomplete and may cause unnecessary confusion and frustration for your staff member(s). Use this checklist to determine if your employee has completed the required training necessary to complete their application.
  2. Verify the correct spelling of their name, date of birth, and email address before submitting a request on their behalf. This can help reduce issues with the verification process.
  3. Adding a name to the list does not mean it has been submitted to us. You will need to add the employee’s information then review it before you submit it to The Nevada Registry.
  4. Avoid submitting requests for the same employee using two different email addresses. Our system is designed to crosscheck various data points to determine if the request is unique or a duplicate, but receiving multiple requests for the same individual can slow the verification process down.
  5. If an application is incomplete (and the applicant chose the correct facility as their employment), you can see the reasons why the application is incomplete as well as the number of times an application request has been submitted. This gives you an opportunity to follow up with your employee and support their successful application for membership.
