ECE Professionals in Nevada!

Are you interested in earning your nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential?

The University of Nevada is offering a FREE program to help support you! Their dedicated trainer/coaches provide exceptional virtual training, coaching and support in both Spanish and English for anyone who works in a licensed early childhood center or home-based childcare.

During the CDA program, early childhood educators receive:

  1. Formal Early Childhood Education Training: 120 hours of training designed to empower you to provide developmentally appropriate experiences for young children in your care, meet the training requirements for your CDA credential, and prepare for the CDA exam.
  2. Personalized Coaching: During the CDA program each participant will receive one-on-one personalized coaching. This coaching support helps you apply what is learned during trainings, address specific challenges, develop unique strengths, and prepare for the CDA verification visit.
  3. Financial Support: This CDA program is funded by a grant which allows the University of Nevada to pay the application fees for any participant who successfully completes all the training hours and other requirements during the program timeframe. The program covers the cost of books, materials, and application fees so this program is free for participants.

If you are ready to take the next step in your early childhood education career, scan the QR code on the linked flyer below to submit your application today. The next CDA session will begin in January 2025. Enrollment is open NOW and will close by December 6, 2024, or sooner if the program is full. Do not delay, openings fill up fast for this free program.
