The Children’s Cabinet, with Division of Welfare and Supportive Services Child Care and Development Program, Endeavor Together LLC and Harder+Company Community Research, are supporting the Nevada Home-Based Child Care Study to better understand the early childhood landscape.
The Children’s Cabinet needs your help to connect with parents and home-based child care providers to take this survey and are actively seeking survey responses from three primary groups:
1. Parents or guardians with a child younger than six years old who currently attends a family child care home/home-based child care or receives regular care from a family, friend, or neighbor
2. Family child care home operators or assistants
3. Family members, friends, or neighbors providing regular care for a child/ren under the age of six (both registered FFN providers and informal Kith + Kin caregivers)
Participants who complete the survey will receive a $25 Tango Gift Card, which can be used at popular vendors like Amazon, Target, and Wal-Mart. The survey takes about 25 minutes and is available in English and Spanish, accessible on phones, tablets, or computers.
To help reach parents and providers, your organization has a unique flyer in this Shared Folder. Using separate flyers helps our research team quickly counter any cyber-attacks to the survey platform and ensure gift cards make it to the hands of Nevada families and child care providers. For security, please refrain from posting the flyer on public websites or social media.
