The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is proud to announce the Spiral Up Director’s Academy is now enrolling for April! Early Childhood Directors and Administrators in Nevada are invited to join the 4-week Spiral Up Director’s Academy. The Academy is designed to help directors focus on strategies for supporting early childhood educators during their first year of employment. This is an opportunity to elevate skills, share expertise, experiences, and challenges. This free 4-week virtual academy is open to all center directors, assistant directors, and administrators in Nevada. Please see the linked flyer below for more information and note this is the same series of training that was offered in April 2024.

The Nevada Registry-approved training sessions will take place on Tuesdays in April.

Sessions will be from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm with a 30-minute optional coaching corner immediately following. During the Academy, the following topics will be discussed: Effective Leadership, Positive Culture and Climate, Hiring and Onboarding, Supporting and Mentoring Staff, Managing Conflict, Being a Lifelong Learner, and Making Time for Self-Care.
