From Washoe County Child Care Licensing

With an increase in COVID-19 cases throughout Washoe County, Child Care Licensing wanted to remind providers of the protocol for COVID-19 exclusions. Please see below an updated Recovery and Release Clearance Guidance sheet from the Health District. As a reminder, children and staff who are fully vaccinated and boosted do not have to isolate so long as they wear a mask for 10 days following a confirmed exposure. Non-vaccinated children and staff should only be returning following a five day isolation period if they can consistently wear a mask for days 6-10 following a COVID-19 exposure or asymptomatic illness.
