The Nevada Registry has created another amazing benefit for members and approved trainers: text messaging! In addition to the email reminder notices you already receive related to your account; you now have the OPTION* to receive text messages notifying you of important deadlines and expiration dates.
* Message and data rates may apply. Receiving text message reminders from The Nevada Registry is optional and is not a condition of membership. You may opt out from text messaging at any time from within your Online Portal.
Frequency of Text Messaging
Text messages are limited to those related to membership and trainer expiration dates, confirming when a reinstatement fee has been received, to notify you when your application/renewal/trainer application/trainer renewal has been processed, and to encourage members with incomplete employment information to update their account. If you opt in, text messages will only be sent several times per year in conjunction with your expiration/renewal dates and will not be used as an intrusive marketing tool.

The following text messages will be sent to those who opt in.
Membership-Related Text Message Reminders (when applicable):
- First Membership Renewal Reminder (sent four to six weeks prior to your expiration date)
- Second Membership Renewal Reminder (sent two weeks prior to your expiration date)
- Membership Expiration Notice (sent on your certificate expiration date)
- Reinstatement Fee Received Confirmation (sent once payment is documented in your account)
- First Incomplete Renewal Notice (sent two days after initiating your renewal)
- Second Incomplete Renewal Reminder Notice (sent five days after initiating your renewal)
- Final Incomplete Renewal Notice (sent 10 days after initiating your renewal)
- Employment Update Notice (sent when a Director removes you from their Employee List)
Trainer-Related Text Message Reminders (if applicable):
- Six-month Trainer Renewal Reminder (sent six months prior to your trainer expiration date)
- Three-month Trainer Renewal Reminder (sent three months prior to your trainer expiration date)
- Two-week Trainer Renewal Reminder (sent two weeks prior to your trainer expiration date)
- Trainer Expiration Notice (sent on day your trainer status expires)
- Trainer Approval Notice (sent on the day your trainer application is approved)
- Trainer Renewal Notice (sent on the day your trainer renewal application is approved)
Opting In is Easy!
To opt in:
Log into your Nevada Registry Online Portal and open your ‘My Membership Profile’ tab. Next, click on the highlighted link to update your personal information.
All members will initially see this message (before opting in/out). Select the option to update your information.
Select ‘Yes’ to opt-in.
Lastly, save your update. Once your personal update is reviewed by The Nevada Registry, this message will appear in your account and you will begin receiving applicable text messages as outlined above, for as long as you remain opted in.

No problem! You may opt out of text messaging at any time by logging into your Online Portal account and updating your preferences.
